Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality medical care and exceptional client service. This role supports veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, diagnostics, treatment, and client education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Prepare patients and equipment for surgery; monitor anesthesia and recovery
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, radiographs, and medication administration
  • Accurately document medical records and treatment plans
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
  • Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and post-operative instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
  • Uphold hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Minimum of [2] years of veterinary clinical experience preferred
  • Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and radiography
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care and client service

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, no weekends or holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with patient handling
