Braden River Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing five-doctor small animal practice. We're looking for a technician who is confident in patient care, enjoys working closely with doctors, and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to pets and the people who love them.

Whether you're a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) or an experienced veterinary technician without credentials, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an active role throughout the patient experience by:

  • Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry
  • Collecting patient histories and obtaining vital signs
  • Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and cytology
  • Monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
  • Administering medications, vaccines, and prescribed treatments
  • Performing digital radiography and in-house laboratory testing
  • Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care
  • Educating clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate electronic medical records

Our technicians take ownership of their exam rooms and are trusted to actively participate in patient care from check-in through discharge.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous Veterinary Technician experience required
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVT, RVT, LVT) encouraged to apply, but not required
  • Strong animal handling skills with dogs and cats
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and patient care
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and clinical procedures
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Someone who enjoys learning, collaborating, and bringing great energy to the team

Schedule

  • Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
  • Four 10-hour shifts (full-time)
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Consistent part-time schedules available

Compensation & Benefits

  • Flexible hourly rate, based on experience
  • Sign-on bonus available
    • Up to $1,000 for credentialed technicians
    • Up to $500 for experienced non-credentialed technicians
