Job Title: Veterinary Technician/Assistant (Credentialed or Non-Credentialed)

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team. Whether you are credentialed or non-credentialed, your passion for animal care and commitment to providing outstanding service will be key to your success in this role. As a vital member of our team, you will assist in the care and treatment of animals, support the veterinarian in examinations and procedures, and help maintain an efficient and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.

  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.

  • Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs.

  • Provide compassionate patient care, including monitoring during recovery and hospitalization.

  • Educate clients on proper pet care, preventive health, and post-treatment instructions.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of treatments.

  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.

  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.

  • Handle animals safely and compassionately during procedures and examinations.

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred, but non-credentialed candidates with strong experience will be considered.

  • Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for animals and commitment to their welfare.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
