About the Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician with 2+ years of experience to join our collaborative, patient-focused team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes initiative, and thrives practicing thoughtful, high-quality medicine in an AAHA-accredited, fear-free environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preventative care appointments and vaccine protocols
  • Perform venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Support radiology procedures and in-house laboratory testing
  • Handle pharmacy duties and medication preparation
  • Provide proper and compassionate patient restraint using fear-free techniques
  • Assist in CORE dental procedures
  • Provide surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment and patient care areas
  • Collaborate with doctors and team members to support daily hospital operations

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and/or Veterinary Technician
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Commitment to patient comfort, safety, and client service

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

  • Pay range: $23.00 + per hour, based on experience and credentials
  • Shifts: 3 per week; required Monday and Friday
