Veterinary Technician – Afternoon/Closing Shift | Supportive Team

Crest Hill Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our experienced and supportive team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a calmer afternoon workflow, strong teamwork, and hands-on patient care while helping the hospital close out the day smoothly.

Ideal Schedule
Enjoy a consistent afternoon shift (2pm–7pm) — perfect if you prefer slower mornings or are balancing school, family, or other commitments. Includes rotating Saturday shifts every other week.

Hands-On Role
Use your technical skills while supporting exams, treatments, patient care, and client communication throughout the afternoon.

Growing Practice
We’re expanding and adding a new DVM, making this a great time to join the team.

Fear-Free Patient Care
We prioritize low-stress handling and high-quality medicine for every patient.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with outpatient exams and treatments

  • Perform venipuncture, lab samples, and radiographs

  • Support patient care and treatments

  • Communicate with clients about care and follow-up

  • Help keep the hospital running smoothly through the end of the day

Compensation & Benefits

$19–$23/hour (based on experience)
