About Us:

Located at 6902 Bowers Rd, Frederick, MD 21702, West Frederick Veterinary Hospital has been proudly AAHA-accredited for over 42 years. We are a small animal general practice caring for cats and dogs, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality veterinary medicine in a friendly, relaxed environment. We're open Monday through Friday (no weekends!), allowing our team to enjoy a truly balanced life.

Our experienced and tenured staff work collaboratively, supporting one another through every shift. Whether you’re a seasoned RVT or a new graduate looking to grow with a team that values mentorship, we’d love to meet you!

What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a Registered Veterinary Technician who is:

· Strong in surgery (spay/neuter, dental, mass removals, cystotomy, pexy), but also happy to support outpatient care

· Experienced (1+ years preferred), but we’re open to training the right new graduate

· Positive, motivated, and eager to learn and grow with a team that welcomes new ideas

· Licensed or eligible for RVT certification in Maryland

Schedule:

· Full-time (Preferred: 4 x 10-hour days) – but we’re flexible based on your needs!

· No nights, weekends, or holidays

Compensation & Benefits:

· Starting at $24/hr (based on experience)

· $500 Sign-On Bonus (paid after 6 months)
