McCauley Animal Clinic is a client-focused, small animal veterinary practice located in Saint Peters, MO. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, personalized care in a professional and welcoming environment. We’re currently seeking a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about animal health and committed to supporting both patients and pet owners. If you’re looking to grow your skills in a modern, supportive setting—we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Collect lab samples and perform in-house diagnostics (e.g., bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal tests)
  • Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery for surgical patients
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records
  • Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, nutrition, and general wellness
  • Handle animals safely and compassionately during exams and procedures
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and exam areas

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (certification a plus, but not required)
  • Strong understanding of small animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and clinical procedures
  • Skilled in patient restraint, lab sample collection, and medication administration
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting
  • A team player with excellent communication and client service skills
  • A calm and caring demeanor when working with both animals and their owners
