Overland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our collaborative small animal practice. This is a great opportunity for a technician who is confident in their skills, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a team that truly supports one another.
🏥 About the Hospital
- Full-service dog and cat general practice
- 4-doctor team with strong technician support
- Equipped with advanced diagnostics including digital radiology, dental radiographs, ultrasound, ECG, cold laser, and electrocautery
- Offers medical care, surgery, dentistry, boarding, daycare, and grooming. A true one-stop shop for pet care
- Technicians are empowered to work at the top of their skillset
💼 What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures
- Perform venipuncture, place catheters, and provide nursing care
- Run exam rooms and communicate clearly with clients
- Maintain accurate medical records and support patient flow
- Collaborate with a team that jumps in, helps out, and keeps things moving

🕒 Schedule
- 4 days per week (full-time)
- Rotating Saturdays (~1 per month)

? What We’re Looking For
- Veterinary Technician experience required (RVT/LVT/CVT a plus, not required)
- Strong technical skills: anesthesia, surgery support, venipuncture, patient care
- Ability to jump in, take initiative, and stay organized
- Positive, team-oriented attitude - no ego, no drama
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- Starting at $25–$27/hour, based on experience
