Job Description

At Princeton Animal Hospital and Carnegie Cat Clinic, we are a compassionate, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients and supporting our team’s professional growth. We believe quality care begins with a supportive, collaborative team — and we’re looking for a skilled and caring Veterinary Technician to join us!

As a large general practice, we see a wide variety of cases from routine wellness visits to complex medical and surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity for a technician who loves hands-on patient care, values teamwork, and enjoys learning something new every day.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care to all patients.

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, +- surgeries, and dental procedures.

  • Perform diagnostic testing, blood draws, IV catheter placement, and +/- anesthesia monitoring.

  • Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and general pet health.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts.

  • Ensure exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment are clean, stocked, and organized.

  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.


Qualifications:

  • Licensed/Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred, but not required.

  • Prior experience in a veterinary setting strongly preferred.

  • Excellent technical, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to patient care.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
