Job Description

Camboro Veterinary Hospital in Edinboro PA is seeking teammates for the Veterinary Technician role. We are looking for candidates who have one or more years of experience and who can act as a leader within our hospital, both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position with some evening and Saturday shifts required.

 

Candidates must have experience in the following areas:

·        

      Surgical assistance

·         Proper restraint

·         Pharmacy duties

·         Lab work

·         Radiology

·         Monitoring patients

·         Anesthesia

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Outstanding client service

·         Knowledge of practice software /AviMark (+)

·         Team player

·         Strong work ethic

 

The Technician is trusted with patient assessments, anesthesia, procedures and treatments. He/she must be detailed oriented and make good decisions, respond quickly and calmly to crisis, and maintain high standards of patient care. Technicians need to communicate clearly with the doctors, other hospital personnel and clients to ensure that patients receive the care they need. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all team members.

 

LVT or CVT candidates preferred, but not required. Experience in position is desired.
