Valwood Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced  Veterinary Technician to join our team!

We are a one-doctor practice focused on providing our patients with exceptional veterinary care while helping you grow in your career. We see a variety of patients including cats, dogs, and exotic animals. With the diverse cases that come through the door, you can almost guarantee no two days will be alike!

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum three years of experience as a veterinary technician. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to critically think and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. 

Job duties include but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of enteral and parenteral medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

 

Compensation

 

Commensurate with experience. Benefit package included medical, vision, dental, CE allowance, uniforms, 401K, and PTO.
