North Lake Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing small animal practice in beautiful Hartland, Wisconsin.

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

As an integral member of our medical team, you'll perform a variety of technical and patient care duties, including:

  • Venipuncture and blood collection

  • IV catheter placement

  • Digital radiology

  • Ultrasound assistance

  • Anesthesia monitoring

  • Surgical preparation and assistance

  • Patient recovery and post-operative monitoring

  • Physical examinations and patient assessments

  • In-house laboratory testing

  • Compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients

  • Client education and communication

  • Technician appointments

  • Professional dental cleanings

  • Medical record documentation

  • General treatment and nursing support

  • Additional duties based on patient needs and experience

Responsibilities may vary depending on experience, certification, and hospital needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience preferred

  • Recent experience in a small animal veterinary hospital required

  • Wisconsin Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license preferred but not required

  • New graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply
