Pet Street Veterinary Care Center is seeking a Veterinary Technician (CVT) or an experienced technician (2+ years) ready to step into a hands-on, fulfilling role in our state-of-the-art, AAHA-accredited hospital in beautiful Ormond Beach, Florida.

About the Role:

We are looking for a career-driven, self-starting Veterinary Technician who thrives in a team-based culture and is comfortable working in all areas of the hospital. Surgical and anesthesia proficiency is required, as well as strong client education skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Surgical and anesthesia monitoring
  • Dental cleanings and dental radiographs
  • Client education and communication (explaining procedures, medications, and protocols)
  • IVC placement, blood draws, radiology, and in-house labs
  • Sending out diagnostics to external labs
  • Understanding and applying Fear Free practices
  • Following vaccination protocols

What We’re Looking For:

  • CVT or 2+ years of relevant technician experience
  • Proficiency in surgery and anesthesia
  • Strong communication and client education skills
  • Team-oriented mindset – you value collaboration and culture
  • A positive attitude and passion for veterinary medicine

  • Boarding care is shared on a rotating schedule for Sundays & holiday shifts (schedule set annually in January – great for planning ahead!)
