About Us
Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates is an eleven doctor, full-service veterinary hospital dedicated to providing exceptional medical care with compassion, integrity, and teamwork. We are expanding our support staff and are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Treatment Admin to join our team.

Position Overview
The Treatment Admin plays a vital role in the daily operations of our hospital. This position supports our medical team by ensuring accurate documentation, smooth medication workflows, and consistent communication with clients. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Auditing client accounts for accuracy and completeness

  • Filling medications in accordance with veterinary prescriptions and hospital protocols

  • Communicating with clients regarding treatment updates, medication instructions, and general inquiries

  • Entering charges into the practice management system with precision

  • Logging controlled substances and other drugs in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

  • Additional tasks as requested to support hospital operations and patient care

Qualifications

  • Prior veterinary or medical support experience preferred (but not required)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow compliance protocols
