Veterinary Medical Oncologist

Southeast Veterinary Oncology & Internal Medicine

Job Description

Southeast Veterinary Oncology & Internal Medicine (SEVO-Med) is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join our team!

Northeast Florida is growing rapidly so we are seeking another oncologist to add to our current team of two internists and three oncologists, and one double-boarded radiation/medical oncologist. SEVO-Med was founded in 2004 in Orange Park, FL, and expanded to two clinics (in Jacksonville, closer to the beach) in 2015. SEVO-Med is a highly respected oncology and internal medicine clinic with a phenomenal reputation in the Northeast Florida region.

Each facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment offering a wide range of diagnostic services and therapies. Our doctors have access to our GE Light speed 64 Slice CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, as well as in-house and reference lab diagnostics. SEVO-Med has access to nearby surgery, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology, and emergency/critical care facilities. Current plans for growth include a large multi-specialty hospital with surgery, emergency/critical care, cardiology, and neurology by the end of 2024.

We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package including licensing fees, membership dues, health insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with contribution eligibility, continuing education, and more. Most importantly, we provide a favorable doctor-to-staff ratio to ensure our specialists have a great work/life balance.

Northeast Florida is a fantastic region offering ample opportunity for year-round outdoor living and Jacksonville was recently ranked the twelfth largest city in the United States, making for plenty of opportunities for housing and recreation. Mild winter weather allows year-round outside activities so whether you’re into swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, kayaking, or all of the above, the beautiful beaches and miles of rivers offer plenty to do. Discover the charm of downtown Jacksonville which offers museums, world-class shopping, top-notch hotels and restaurants, picturesque public gardens, bike paths, and much more! Plus, our schools are rated A+!
