Job Description

Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral in Wilmington, North Carolina is looking for a Neurologist to join their dynamic team of professionals.


As the only 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in coastal North Carolina, we have a high caseload of critically ill and injured patients. Our team is expanding, and we are looking to hire a Neurologist/Neurosurgeon to develop our Neurology Service. Our team consists of 7 full-time emergency veterinarians who work in conjunction with specialists in surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and radiology. We are in a 15,000 square foot facility with plans for expansion. We are equipped with 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, a 4-slice GE CT scanner, flexible endoscopy, two Snyder oxygen cage banks (5 cages), full in-house IDEXX lab systems, arthroscopy, and a ForceTriad Electrosurgical Unit. We are site ready for an MRI, with all approvals in place.
