Job Description

We are looking for an AWESOME Certified Vet Tech that wants to EXCEL and reach their personal and professional goals!

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities include:
· Providing MEMORABLE client service and INDIVIDUALIZED patient care
· Competency in routine nursing care & treatments including IV fluid administration, vaccines & medication administration, and wound management
· Preparing prescription medications, taking radiographs, and completing medical records
· Processing in-hospital and reference laboratory diagnostic testing
· Setting patient catheters, preparing for surgical procedures, and monitoring general anesthesia
· All aspects of exam room communication and protocols such as obtaining history, TPR, client communication, and briefing veterinarians
· Performing toe nail trims, blood draws, ear cleanings, and gland expressions
· Assisting with the care of boarding & hospitalized animals and maintaining cleanliness of kennels
· Help the team maintain a clean medical facility

Requirements:
· AWESOME positive attitude and enjoys teamwork
· Required: 2+ years of Vet Tech experience in a veterinary facility
· Required: Technician Certification (CVT)
· GREAT communication and computer skills
· Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and climb; as well as lift, carry, move up to 50 pounds
