Job Description

Roxboro Animal Hospital is accepting applications for a Registered Veterinary Technician. We are a full-service small animal practice and are AAHA accredited and most of our equipment is new. Our state of the art facility is located 30 minutes north of Durham NC and 20 miles south of the Virginia line.

The preferred candidate will possess a 2 year Registered Veterinary Technician certification and have 5 (five) years experience working in the veterinary field. Applicants must have experience supervising Veterinary Assistants, writing medical protocols, administering rabies vaccines, reading blood smears, cystocentesis, urinalysis sediment, filling and controlling all drugs. In addition, candidate should be experienced in surgical, dental, xray, and routine medical procedures.  We will consider non-credentialed applicants as well but applicants must have solid experience working in the veterinary field and we may consider sponsoring candidate for RVT program.
