Located on the scenic East End of Long Island, NY – We are well established AAHA Accredited, 5 doctor full service small animal hospital. Our doctors and team are deeply committed to providing excellent care to all patients, from fur to feather to scale!  

Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We offer comprehensive services including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, digital full body and dental x-rays, as well as preventative care and vaccinations. We also work with the local aquarium and two marine mammal and sea turtle rescue programs so be prepared to see some really interesting animals!

Ideal Candidate would have:

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician
  • New graduate from an AVMA accredited school with intent to sit for VTNE are accepted
  • Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include placing IV Catheters, phlebotomy, administering Injections, anesthesia induction and monitoring, perioperative surgical nursing etc).
  • Safely restrain patients for various types of treatments and procedures
  • Adaptable to the demands of the day
  • Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situations
  • Positive attitude and TEAM Player personality
  • Dedication to excellent client communication and exceptional client care.
  • Advocate for excellent patient care
  • Passion for growth and development, open to accepting feedback

  • $1000 Sign on bonus available
  • Competitive compensation. The base hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 per hour. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
