Location

Our practice is located in beautiful Ormond Beach, FL. We are bordered by the Tomoka River on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east, and we are just an hour away from Orlando.

Practice Overview

Established in 2009, Pet Street Veterinary Care Center is a full-service private practice. We are in a brand-new 5,000 square-foot building with new equipment, and we offer cold laser therapy, oncology, dentistry, surgery, radiology, ultrasound and in-house lab. We are proud to be AAHA Accredited, FEAR Free & Feline Friendly, and we have been voted Hometown News Reader’s choice awards Best Veterinary Clinic & Best Veterinarian for seven years in a row! This doesn’t happen by chance. Our team is full of motivated, flexible, and highly engaged people that focus on collaboration and commitment to delivering the best care for our client’s pets.

What You’ll Be Working On

· Engaging and communicating with clients

· Assist with patient exams, surgery, radiology, and emergency treatment

· Assist in boarding and kennels

· Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment

· Administer anesthetics or sedatives to control pain under direction of a veterinarian

· Getting and maintaining patient information with our veterinary software system

Qualifications

· Licensed Veterinary Technician or at least 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant preferred

· Ability to work weekends

· Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning

· Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

· Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives

· Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
