Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) is interested in hiring additional experienced or internship-trained Emergency Veterinarians who are interested in working primarily Overnight shifts. ER Mentorship is available for new grads and experienced general practice veterinarians looking for a change of pace. VESH offers 2 mentorship program options, ranging from 3 to 6 months, with training provided by boarded criticalists and/or experienced DVMs.


Our Overnight Emergency Veterinarians enjoy a consistent and predictable schedule, lower case volume, competitive salary with production incentives (with no negative accrual), and an experienced, friendly, and supportive team!

Nestled in the beautiful Pioneer Valley and Five Colleges area of Western Massachusetts, VESH is a VECCS Level II specialty and 24-hour emergency hospital that serves Western MA, Northern CT, and Southern VT and NH. We have recently expanded and updated our 10,300 square foot facility in South Deerfield, MA, and we will be opening a second location in West Springfield in early 2023.
