Job Description
Premier Veterinary Group is seeking a Small Animal Medical Oncologist or residency trained DVM to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Premier Veterinary Group has been long established in the Chicago area for over 20 years and by adding the right small animal medical oncologist we are looking to provide a wider variety of services to our clients and community. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has the desire and ambition to lead and grow our team.
Our facility is located on the northwest side of Chicago which is about 25 minutes to the heart of downtown and 20 minutes to Wrigley field. Two international airports are close by for easy domestic and international traveling. Chicago is a world-class city with numerous beaches, museums, restaurants, parks and year-round festivals to enjoy. Chicago has also been voted as one of the best walkable cities and in the top 10 best cities for public transportation and places to live.
Our hospital serves a large and busy group of referring veterinary hospitals. Our hospital is a 10,000 square foot, open concept facility with 2 surgical suites equipped for minimally invasive procedures. Our existing medical oncology suite is also being fully remodeled to meet the highest standards of Ethos and USP guidelines. We have full scoping capabilities, high flow oxygen and mechanical ventilation, digital radiology, ultrasound, CT scan and a 1.5 Telsa MRI.
Our current specialties include Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Anesthesiology & Analgesia, Radiology and Emergency. Our specialists and emergency doctors are supported by an amazing group of technicians, client care representatives, and management team. We also employ a social worker who assists both staff and clients on a full-time basis.
