Job Description

Premier Veterinary Group is seeking a Small Animal Surgeon to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital in Grayslake, Illinois.


Premier Veterinary Group has been long established in the Chicago area for over 20 years and by adding the right small animal surgeon we are looking to provide a wider variety of services to our clients and community. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has the desire and ambition to lead and grow the surgical team. Collaboration with other specialists on complex cases provides support to the veterinary community through the highest level of communication and continuing education. 


Our facility is located in Grayslake, IL, which is less than 10 miles from the Wisconsin/Illinois border and a 1-hour drive to downtown Chicago and serves a large and busy group of referring veterinary hospitals.  Our hospital is approximately 7,500 square feet with 2 surgical suites equipped for minimally invasive procedures. Diagnostic equipment includes digital radiology, ultrasound, and CT.  Current specialties include Cardiology and Emergency.  We do have anesthesiology, surgery, and rehab services available at our other hospitals in the Chicagoland area. Our specialists and emergency doctors are supported by an amazing group of technicians, client care representatives, and a management team.
