Fremont Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital that welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have years of experience treating serious conditions as well as providing routine wellness services. Beyond our first-rate pet care, we strive to make our clinic comfortable, family-friendly, calm, and display a commitment to client education. Fremont Animal Hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

About You:

·        You are a Veterinary Technician (Experienced and/or Credentialed) with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care.

·        Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, helping to get all the day’s duties done!

·        Motivated and compassionate, you have a strong work ethic and value team cohesion and efficiency.

·        You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):

o   Patient assessment and physical examinations

o   Phlebotomy and catheter placement

o   Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

o   Anesthesia monitoring proficiency

o   Perioperative surgical nursing skills

o   Routine dental prophylaxis experience

o   Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures

 

Anticipated Schedule (TBD):

·       Full-time, four 10-hour shifts/week with alternating Saturdays

·       Our hospital is open:

o   Mon & Tues (8:00am – 6:00pm)

o   Weds & Fri (8:00am - 5:00pm)

o   Thurs (8:00 am – 6:00 pm)

o   Saturday (9:00am – 12:00pm)

o   Closed Sundays
