This full-time position offers a flexible 30–40-hour workweek schedule, no on-call, and one Saturday shift every 4 weeks. Morgan Animal Hospital is housed in a modern, well-equipped hospital that has digital radiography, dental radiography, in-house lab, endoscopy, fully equipped surgery & more. For those with an interest in endoscopy, in-house training can be offered.

Job Responsibilities


  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
  • Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
  • Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Present a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.
  • Work in a communicative and collaborative fashion that focuses on team success.

Skills and Basic Qualifications


  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
