Great Oaks Animal Hospital located in Round Rock, TX is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! Excellent mentorship for new-grads!

We have been serving the North Austin area since 1991.  We provide full service to our patients from wellness care, routine dental and surgery to full service diagnostics.  We also have a robust pet resort in a separate building for our communities boarding, grooming, and day care needs.  We have a wonderful support staff with a lot of tenure - including a Medical Director who has been with the practice since 1996.  We offer an experienced staff with the ability to mentor, a high level of medicine, a consistent work-life balance, and a wonderful place to live.

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

  • Good Work-life balance! Schedule is 4 week days and a Saturday rotation, closed on Sunday
  • Spacious hospital with 4 exam rooms
  • Brand new Samsung ultrasound Unit
  • Digital X-ray- both standard and dental
  • Surgery suite 
  • Separate dental suite with 2 tables
    • Two midmark dental units with high speed drills 
  • idexx procyte and chemistry machine 
  • twice daily during week idexx pick up for outside labs
  • Paper light hospital Avimark system
  • Robust Pet Wellness Plan
  • 2:1 Tech to DVM ratio
  • At least 2 other DVMs on staff at all times
  • Weekly to bimonthly boarded radiologist in hospital 
  • Great relationship with 2 referral hospitals and 3 emergency hospitals

Location:

Round Rock is located in the North Austin area of Texas. Wonderful location for outdoor activities, excellent restaurants, live music and many festivals. Hospital is located near great neighborhoods with great school districts.
