As a Managing Veterinarian or Associate Veterinarian, you'll be at the forefront of our clinic's journey, shaping its culture and upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art facility, our clinic has two exam rooms, a comfort room, surgical suite, x-ray, IDEXX lab, dental equipment, and even a wildlife permit for added excitement. Our team shares a passion for a diverse range of surgeries, alongside a deep dedication to dental health and proactive preventive care.


As the leader at Invermere Veterinary Hospital your role will extend beyond providing clinical leadership. You’ll be instrumental in providing unwavering mentorship and guidance to our veterinary team. You’ll cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration, embodying servant leadership qualities that contribute to the clinic's success.


Along with a healthy work-life balance, we are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package with a salary of $100,000-$120,000 for the Associate and $120,000-$130,000 for the Managing Veterinarian with great earning potential based on pay structure and commensurate on experience for both roles, coupled with a leadership bonus for the Managing Veterinarian. Job Responsibilities


  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. 
  • Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
  • Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Presents a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications


  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university. 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Canada.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
