Job Description

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Brevard is seeking an Emergency Services Doctor to join our growing team in Melbourne, Florida - ER Mentorship is available!  

Located just a few minutes from the beach, our innovative veterinary hospital offers specialty referral and 24-hour emergency care. Our team includes a Dental Department, as well as Emergency clinicians, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, a visiting Cardiologist, and a well-established group of support staff. Our team is a tight-knit group that enjoys supporting each other in a cooperative and productive environment. Interested candidates should be experienced in or interested in Emergency Medicine and Surgery, and be open to a primarily overnight schedule.

The facility includes MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy/thoracoscopy, electrodiagnostics, ventilatory support, physical therapy (underwater treadmill/acupuncture), and a full in-house laboratory. We have full surgical capabilities and our goal is to provide premiere diagnostics and therapeutics in a comfortable, compassionate environment. To view our hospital tour, click here!

Our hospital is centrally located on Florida's east coast, 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Also known as the Space Coast because of Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center, the community is very friendly and welcoming and attracts high tech and engineering professionals.
