Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm & Saturday - Sunday 10am - 7pm

About the Job:  As a Registered Veterinary Technician in our Urgent Care you will be responsible for:

  • Triaging patients 
  • Obtaining and reporting vitals, prioritizing patient treatments and delegating tasks if needed
  • Recognize changes in patient status and report to doctor
  • Advise owners, prepare medications, and discharge patients 
  • Collect samples, place IV catheters, prepare IV fluids and additives
  • Utilizing different imaging modalities (radiographs,ultrasound)
  • Calculating and administering medication, fluid additives, CRI's   
  • Administer and monitor patients for anesthetic/sedation procedures

About You:

  • Minimum of 3 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required. 1 years ER experience preferred. 
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
  • Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
