Mason Family Pet Hospital is currently seeking to hire Registered Veterinary Technicians to help support our fast paced, multi doctor veterinary practice! Over the past 20 years, we have served the Mason community by providing the highest quality of care to our patients and an excellent experience to our clients. We are open to both full and part time candidates. Preference given to full-time candidates, with experience in a surgical setting being a plus.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

 

New graduate from an AVMA accredited school with intent to sit for VTNE are accepted

 

Previous Veterinary Experienced (>1 year)

 

Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include placing IV Catheters, phlebotomy, administering Injections, anesthesia induction and monitoring, perioperative surgical nursing, etc.).

 

Safely restrain patients for various types of treatments and procedures.

 

Adaptable to the demands of the day.

 

Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situation.

 

Positive attitude and TEAM Player personality.

 

Dedication to excellent client communication and exceptional client care.

 

Advocate for excellent patient care.

 

Passion for growth and development, open to accepting feedback.

 

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Prior client service experience in related area preferred but not required.

 

Proper telephone etiquette and client service excellence.

 

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail, and practice management software experience preferred).

 

Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and still attend to details.
