Job Description

A growing, 6-Doctor, general practice is looking to add a licensed Veterinary Technician to lead a team of technical personnel of about 15 employees.

Chief expectations:
* Ensure that patient care standards are well communicated to and being followed by the team members.
* Support, guide and assist team members in their performance of a variety of technical and client education duties.
* Coordinate and provide technical skills training to team members and student externs.
* Contribute to scheduling, hiring and performance management processes.
* Ensure that hospital and its employees are in compliance with federal/state animal health laws and regulations including OSHA and DEA.
* Assume regular shift work such as assisting in surgery or exam rooms.
