Associate Veterinarian opening in Northwest Pennsylvania

Camboro Veterinary Hospital is located just 15 miles south of the City of Erie and beautiful Lake Erie. Our 7,000 square foot modern hospital provides primary, referral and limited emergency services. We were founded in 1952 providing over 6 decades of superior and compassionate care to the Tri-State’s area pets.

Full-time or Part-time hours available. 

About our hospital:

  • 3 Doctors, 2 CVTs, 10 assistants
  • 6 modern exam rooms, large hospital waiting and reception area
  • Treatment area includes two wet sinks, 2 treatment tables and 8 ICU kennels
  • Exam rooms equipped with MedRX otoscopes
  • Isolation Ward has separate ventilation, temperature controls and entrance/exit if needed
  • Full Idexx In House Laboratory System which is integrated into the latest AVIMark Computer system
  • Digital Radiology
  • Ultrasound
  • Laser Scalpel
  • Laser Therapy
  • Stem Cell Therapy/PRP
  • Retail and pet discharge areas

As an Associate Veterinarian at Camboro Veterinary Hospital you will be an invaluable member of our team helping to provide high quality medicine to our loyal clientele. Our doctors enjoy the ability to choose their areas of special interest which include Orthopedics, Dentistry, Laser Surgery, Adipose Stem Cell Medicine, Exotic, Ferret, Pocket Pet Medicine, and General Medicine and Surgery.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Advances the quality of medicine in practice and provides exceptional client service to clients and patients. 
  • Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns
  • Performs physical exams and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality of care
  • Minimalizes stress and discomfort for clients and patients
  • Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative health care and nutritional needs.

The Area: 

Edinboro is a borough in Erie County, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Erie Metropolitan Statistical Area. As home to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, it is a small college town, as well as a resort community. Edinboro Lake is in the heart of the town giving way to boating, kayaking, and fishing recreation. We are also a short distance (only 90 minutes) to Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, Ohio, and Buffalo NY. 


Skills and Qualifications.

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in Pennsylvania.
