Job Description

Be part of the family at the premier general practice small animal veterinary clinic of the Red River Valley! Kindness Animal Hospital is hiring a licensed veterinary technician to join our team! We are offering a very generous sign on bonus, up to $5,000, as well as a Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm schedule: no holidays or weekends! Full or part time positions available. Full time positions (30+ hours) are eligible for a robust benefits package. Hourly wage for licensed technicians is $20+ per hour, DOE.

Kindness Animal Hospital was founded in 1985 and since then has worked hard to build its reputation as the premier general practice small animal veterinary clinic of the Red River Valley. We offer the very best in routine preventative healthcare for small animals along with providing advanced medical and surgical services, including orthopedics. Kindness Animal Hospital was acquired by National Veterinary Associates (NVA) in 2021 and has since experienced rapid growth and expansion in staff and services offered. The corporate ownership of NVA allows for Kindness Animal Hospital to have access to a multitude of resources and tools in the veterinary industry while allowing our local hospital leaders the autonomy to operate in the ways that best serve its clients, community and employees. As a Veterinary Technician at Kindness Animal Hospital, you will: 

Demonstrate technical skills to include proper animal restraint; administration of fluids; cleaning and dressing of wounds; grooming; imaging; prepare patients for surgical procedures; administer, maintain and recover patients from anesthetic events; perform laboratory tests; perform dental procedures; assist in surgical procedures including orthopedics; fill prescriptions; other duties as assigned. 

This position will contribute to the overall goals and expectations of the practice as indicated in the full job description.
