Job Description

Northfield Veterinary Center is in search of a full time or part time board-certified or residency-trained surgeon to contribute to the growth and advancement of the surgery department.


Our new location opened in May 2024 and offers a variety of services, including Emergency Care, Critical Care, Cardiology, Surgery and an outpatient CT service. We are actively recruiting a surgeon to take over the surgery service and join our committed team. Through our efforts, we have cultivated a strong and enthusiastic surgical team that is eager to embrace and support the addition of another surgeon to our ranks.


In this brand-new location, we offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a Fuji 32-slice CT, two fully equipped surgical suites, and a dedicated pre-op induction area. Our advanced equipment includes Forcetriad ligasure, Bovie cautery, and Synthes battery-operated drills, ensuring cutting-edge capabilities for surgical procedures. Additionally, we are committed to meeting the preferences of our new surgeon by being open to purchasing necessary equipment tailored to their specifications


We stand as the sole specialty hospital within an 80-minute radius. A generous sign-on, relocation, and/or retention bonus awaits the ideal candidate. There are also opportunities to collaborate with our sister hospital, Red Bank Hillsborough, should you be interested.


Situated on the Jersey shore, our hospital is just a 5-minute drive from the beaches. With convenient access, we are approximately 40 minutes from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City. Nestled in an exceptionally family-friendly town with outstanding school systems, our location offers a more affordable housing market compared to North New Jersey.
