Nebraska Animal Medical Center is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team during nights.

About Us

We are a busy practice focused on providing clients & patients with the best experience. We see a variety of patients including dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets! With the diverse cases that come through the door, you can almost guarantee no two days or nights will be alike.

 

We offer all life-stage wellness, boarding, daycare, grooming, diagnostic services, various surgeries, specialized health services, daytime emergency care, rehabilitation therapy, and soon overnight monitoring.

 

This position is focused on overnight care of hospitalized animals. Not taking new emergencies overnight while the clinic is closed.

 

Our facility has;

Six exam rooms and a comfort room * Dental suite with full monitoring and warming capabilities * Full surgery suite * Rehabilitation suite including an underwater treadmill * Ultrasound room* Boarding and daycare ward with outside play yard * Full Grooming ward * and much more!

About You

You are a licensed veterinary technician with a positive attitude, a team player who genuinely loves pets and can work with their people. You possess the ability to draw blood and place catheters, monitor during surgical procedures (assisting where needed), understand vaccines and preventative protocols, coordinate emergency patients, communicate well, and most importantly love what you do. Your ability to function in a hospital environment with compassion, efficiency, and flexibility is key to success in this role.
