Veterinary Surgeon

Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service

Job Description

Mid Columbia Pet Emergency is actively seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a residency-trained veterinarian or board-certified surgeon, as part of our expansion efforts from Emergency to Specialty services.

Situated in Pasco, Washington, our 3000-square-foot facility boasts a dedicated surgery suite with two tables, eagerly awaiting the expertise of the right surgeon. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, capable of initiating and leading the surgery service, and eager to shape it into their own. As the exclusive 24/7 emergency vet hospital in the region, there's no shortage of cases to handle.

Equipped with cautery, ligasure, and an endoscope, our hospital is committed to providing the necessary tools for success. We invite our next surgeon to contribute to the selection of equipment that aligns with their preferences and enhances their capabilities.

At Mid Columbia, we prioritize mentorship and value our licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs). With a robust team of LVTs and a strong partnership with the local veterinary technician school, our hospital fosters a supportive culture, reflected in our low turnover rate.

Located amidst mountains, vineyards, and orchards, Pasco offers a picturesque backdrop and a wealth of outdoor activities, including hiking, water sports, and access to various rivers. With a manageable 4-hour drive to Portland or Seattle, you can easily explore city life when desired. Pasco experiences all four seasons, allowing you to enjoy your favorite activities year-round.
