Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director to lead our AAHA-accredited team in a collaborative, supportive environment. The Opportunity
- Provide medical leadership and ensure the highest quality of care
- Mentor and manage associate veterinarians
- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold veterinary ethics
- Partner with the Hospital Manager to oversee financial performance
- Prepare operating and capital budgets
- Guide staff and overall hospital operations
- Collaborate with divisional leadership under National Veterinary Associates (NVA)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a DVM
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
- Active Florida veterinary license in good standing
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Compensation
- Competitive base salary
- Production-based and leadership bonuses
- Up to $60,000 signing bonus
- No negative accrual during the first year
