Our technicians are highly skilled professionals who help provide the best care for our client's pets while under the Veterinarian's care.

We are looking for an experienced small animal veterinary technician with at least 1 yr small animal experience, who is a self motivated team player for a state of the art, progressive, multi doctor, small animal hospital in Ocala, Fl.

Our Hospital is an Idexx Laboratories Integrated Practice containing, but not limited to Digital Radiology, In House Laboratory testing equipment and a wide range of surgical outpatient procedures offered.We are paperless and use Avimark software. Our technician's primary responsibilities include complete case management and knowledge, client education and communications, as well as all basic technical skills and nursing care.Candidate must be able to draw blood, start IVs, take radiographs, assist in surgery, perform dental cleanings, and be able to understand signs and symptoms to recognize patient distress, patient needs, etc. along with excellent client service skills.We stress that every pet has at least one pet parent with them and people skills are as important as being able to get along with our beloved pets.

This is a full time position with a competitive salary and benefits offered after a probationary period is completed.Candidates must have the ability to multitask, take initiative, show leadership, be a team player, as well as be able to lift 50 lb, and provide good professional references. Professional appearance is required at all times while on the premise. We are looking for an applicant who possesses motivation, intelligence and enthusiasm to learn from and retain their experiences. We are also a drug free work place.
