Woodlake Veterinary Hospital in Richfield, MN is looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our amazing TEAM!

Voted 2023’s Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite! We are a 6 doctor, AHAA accredited, small animal practice looking to grow our team. Our mission is to provide gentle, dedicated, progressive care to each patient through our knowledgeable and compassionate hospital team. We offer services such as digital radiology, fully equipped dental and surgical suites, in house laboratories, laser therapy and preventative and behavioral care. We recently went through a remodel to support our continued patient and client growth in the community!

Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!

Our Ideal Candidate:

·         Credentialed Veterinary Technician

·         Experienced non credentialed technicians will also be considered

·         Recent graduate of AVMA accredited school, with intent to sit for VTNE

·         Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include but not limited to placing IV Catheters, venipuncture, patient assessment, surgical preparation, anesthesia, surgical nursing)

·         Client Communication, Excellent Customer Service

·         Passion for Preventative Care and Client Education

·         Ability to assess situations with a sense of urgency and remain calm during stressful or emotional situations 

·         Motivated, Positive, TEAM Player

Anticipated Schedule:

·         We are open Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm

·         Full time and part time shifts available  

·         Rotating Saturday shifts (every other)

·         Day off during the week when working a Saturday shift

·         No on call or boarding
