For over 60 years, Brack Animal Hospital has provided compassionate and advanced veterinary care to our patients in Windsor and surrounding areas. We are searching for full / part time Associate Veterinarians to join our team in promoting animal health and wellness through medical excellence, skilled surgery, honest and open communication, and gentle personalized care for our patients.


We have been an AAHA accredited practice since 1964. We strive to not only offer sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care. We understand that our animal companions are our best friends. We are looking for an individual who has experience in medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Our candidate must have a developed sense of teamwork and believe that great communication and collaboration are foundational to success.

Job Responsibilities

• Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
• Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
• Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
• Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
• Present a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.
• Provide mentorship to new employees and student externs that helps develop the next generation of veterinarian colleagues.
• Work in a communicative and collaborative fashion that focuses on team success.


Skills and Basic Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
• Ideally a seasoned practitioner that has a wide range of experience but are open to new graduates.
• Dental and soft tissue surgical skill set are essential.
• A great sense of fun and love of working in a team environment.
