Abraham’s Equine Clinic , located just east of Cedar Rapids, is seeking a fourth service-oriented practitioner to help round out our growing team! 

We are a busy, multi-doctor, equine practice serving diverse clientele and offering a collaborative environment where we value perseverance, compassion, teamwork and quality care, while being sure to have some fun along the way! With a diverse caseload serving many different equine disciplines and clientele, our ideal candidate will have a track record of exceptional client relations, be solutions oriented, enjoy providing ambulatory/field service while also having the ability to see patients in-clinic and manage hospital cases, including foaling mares and neonatal care. Leadership and management interest or experience is welcomed, and internship training is a plus!


Practice Facilities: located on 29 lush acres, with 12 paddocks and 6 larger pastures for turnout, we have 6 barns with a total of 68 stalls, and usually stand approximately 15 stallions. Our facilities house a reproductive center with an embryo transfer program and foaling services, an ICU unit, isolation barn, full-service laboratory, radiology suite, surgical suite, endoscopy, ultrasound, mesotherapy, shockwave therapy, PRP and IRAP, as well as offering 24-hour ambulatory services.


We offer a competitive salary along with additional performance-related incentives, equitable split of emergency duties (with 3 other doctors), fully equipped ambulatory vehicle, coverage of state licensing fees and relevant association membership dues, $2500 in CE allowance, student loan repayment assistance, and access to our health, wellness, and retirement plans.
