Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic in South Tampa is seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian (DVM) to join our team! We are looking for a DVM who is interested in working at least two days per week and is available to work recurring Saturdays.

Established in 2002, Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is a trusted and beloved part of the historic Hyde Park neighborhood. We’re nestled in an area with fantastic shopping, dining, nightlife, and just a few blocks from the scenic Bayshore Boulevard. Our location also puts us near downtown Tampa, with a vibrant community that includes some of Tampa Bay’s most notable athletes.


We pride ourselves on offering high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility with a compassionate team of five experienced veterinarians and an exceptional support staff. Our clinic is equipped with eight exam rooms, a fully equipped surgical suite, a dental suite, ultrasound, digital radiography, CBLO, and laser therapy. We’re proud to be a Certified Low-Stress Handling Clinic and the first in the region to receive Cat-Friendly Practice certification from the AAFP.

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 6 PM), Saturdays (8:30 AM – 12 PM), closed on Sundays. Each veterinarian has a designated surgery day each week.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a veterinarian in a clinic setting.
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • A current, valid veterinary license in good standing for the state of Florida.
  • Strong commitment to the highest standards of care, and adherence to the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Ability to work recurring weekends

Compensation: 

  • $125-160K base salary depending on experience
  • This position is eligible for production-based bonuses (no negative accrual).
