WHO ARE WE? NVS is a 24/7 veterinary specialty and emergency hospital. We are located in a recently expanded 24,000 square foot hospital with digital radiography, computed tomography (CT), on-site magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, endoscopy, access to an on-site commercial laboratory, and more. Our primary focus is to honor the human-animal bond in all we do, focusing on patient care, client experience, and the health of our team. Anticipated Schedule: Night Shift- 6pm-6am, 12 hour shifts, 3 per week
Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Restraint for exams/procedures
- Set-Up for Procedures (i.e. central lines, sampling lines, NG tube, urethral unblocking, etc.)
- Stock Supplies (i.e. catheters, scrub, alcohol, syringes, pee pads, fluids, fluid lines, etc.)
- Assist with Radiographs
- Set-up/tear-down patient beds for hospitalized patients
- Making Flushes
- Doing Laundry
- Sweeping/Mopping
- Doing Dishes
- Walking Dogs
- Changing Bedding
- Cleaning Cages
- General Hospital Cleaning (Clean/scoop lawn, empty trash receptacle, refill bags, change out fly bags, etc)
- Facilitating Patient Visits- (for stable, non-complicated cases only)
Experience: At least 1+ year(s) of animal handling experience
Compensation:
- Range is $17-$22 DOE, commensurate with experience
- $4.50 Shift Differential/Weekend Differential Available
