Animal Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant, a long-established fixture of the community, is seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join our team. We are a highly respected practice located at the base of the Ravenel Bridge to beautiful Charleston, SC… walk the bridge after work or take a short 5-minute car ride to the beautiful beaches of Sullivan’s Island!

**$100k to $135K Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)



Our top-of-line clinic has a very loyal clientele in a highly affluent location. We practice gold standard medicine while developing long-term relationships with our clients and community. With over 300 five-star reviews on Google, our reputation speaks for itself. Our veterinary team consists of 4 full-time doctors (all under the age of 40) and 2 part-time doctors. Our staff is committed to our practice with most of our reception and technician team having been with us for over 5 years.


Our doctor team is incredibly close and work cases together and support each other allowing for a great mentorship opportunity for new graduates. There is no competition between the doctors. All the doctors work cases together and encourage a collaborative work environment.  We utilize a local radiologist to read all our radiographs, a local mobile internist to work up cases in house and have two specialty centers within miles of the clinic.


Our hospital features all high-end equipment allowing us to practice the best quality of medicine for our patients.

  • Zoetis Imagyst
  • CO2 Laser for surgery
  • Summus Cold Therapy Laser
  • Radioactive Iodine Therapy for feline hyperthyroidism
  • Isolation suite
  • Suntech Blood Pressure monitoring System
  • Dental Surgical suite separate from the main surgery suite
  • Avimark software system

 

We also own a large boarding facility with a separate manager and staff located on the property.

 

Our hospital is seeking a special individual to join our growing practice. We are seeking a motivated individual that is interested in joining a practice and staying long term. Our staff and doctors tend never to leave! We have a wonderful culture and an excellent support staff with a great technician to doctor ratio. We practice high quality medicine managing internal medicine cases, surgical cases and general wellness care. Our doctors work 4 full days per week and rotate half day Saturdays (Generally 2 Saturdays per month). Generous compensation package to include CE allowance, paid time off, health, dental, vision etc.

Located at the base of the Ravenel Bridge in beautiful Mt Pleasant, SC. 10 mins to the beaches of Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island, walk the bridge to downtown Charleston during your lunch break! Whole Foods and Starbucks are across the street. The veterinary emergency hospital and referral center are less than 1 mile away. One could not ask for a better location!
