We offer a large and spacious clinic equipped with a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory including in-house blood analyzers, digital dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, and a surgical suite equipped with quality anesthesia and monitoring systems. Veterinary Technicians play an integral role at our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, performing dental cleanings, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We currently offer a 5 day work week (NO WEEKENDS!) and a flexible schedule. Whether you’re looking for a 4 (10 hour shifts) or 5 (8 hour shifts) day work week, full or part time, we’ve got it!

Our Ideal Candidate:

· Licensed as a Veterinary Technician or recent graduate with successful VTNE pending licensure.

· You possess strong leadership skills and enjoy both teaching & mentoring. You truly love veterinary medicine and believe in ongoing engagement in education and growth, in every form!

· Take the initiative – you are a hard worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day’s duties done!

· Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM (to include placing IV Catheters, venipuncture, injections, anesthesia induction and monitoring, perioperative surgical nursing etc).

· Passionate about growth and development

· You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):

·         Patient assessment and physical examinations

·         Phlebotomy and catheter placement

·         Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

·         Anesthesia monitoring proficiency

·         Perioperative surgical nursing skills

·         Routine dental prophylaxis experience

·          Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures

· Positive attitude and TEAM Player personality

· Excellent communication skills

· Exceptional customer service, compassion for all clients and patients

Compensation:

· $21-$24 per hour depending on skills and experience
