Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal in helping to guide our staff and operations. The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in financial management. You will play a key role in maintaining our hospital’s high standards of care while promoting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Assist in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Team Leadership: Foster positive interdepartmental relationships and encourage collaboration among staff to enhance the overall workplace environment.
  • Client Relations: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare, analyze, and report on financial documents, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Policy Development: Support the implementation of practice policies and procedures that align with our hospital’s goals and best practices.
  • Staff Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring team members, encouraging professional growth and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary Experience: Is preferred but not required
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience with financial reporting and budget management, demonstrating the ability to analyze data and drive operational improvements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff alike.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is required with a focus on motivating and developing teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
