We are seeking a full-time certified/registered veterinary technician to join our positive, growing team! The ideal applicant has a minimum of two years hands-on experience in surgical prep, anesthesia and patient status monitoring, dental cleaning and radiographs.

Our hospital specializes in comprehensive canine and feline dentistry, diagnostic excellence, and innovative pain management, urgent care, preventative wellness, hospitalization, laser therapy, surgical services, dental prophylaxis and surgery, diagnostic imaging and ultrasound, all with a Fear-Free focus for our patients.

About You

You are a credentialed Veterinary Technician with outstanding client service skills and focus on excellent patient care.

  • Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, helping to get all the day’s duties done!
  • Motivated and compassionate, you have a strong work ethic and value team cohesion and efficiency.
  • You understand the challenges we may face working in veterinary medicine and are able to respond with a sense of humor, positivity, and grace.
  • You place a high value on learning and continuing to enhance your knowledge/skill set.
  • You love interacting and building relationships with clients, and truly want to make a difference for patients and their families.
  • You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to): Patient assessment and physical examination, Phlebotomy and catheter placement, Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique, Anesthesia inducing and monitoring proficiency, Perioperative surgical nursing skills, Routine dental prophylaxis experience and a Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures.

Compensation: Dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
