National Veterinary Associates is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join the team!


Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis – Pet Resorts,  you will be responsible for reporting, planning and analysis support for resorts.  The Analyst must bring a servant leadership mindset to help build and develop relationships in a fast paced and evolving workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial/KPI reporting and presentation materials for leadership.
  • Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement.
  • Present financial data, insights and reports to operational leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders in the preparation of the annual budget and forecast processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, utilizing data to guide decisions, cost-savings and operational improvements.
  • Develop and maintain tools for expense tracking and lead process trainings.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial processes, including reports, tools and presentation materials.
  • Track Capex spend against targets
  • Review and analyze GL account data, prepare accruals, reclasses and expense allocations for month end close.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 1 - 3 years of analyst experience in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related field.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, with strong fluency in Excel.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data simply and concisely.
  • Understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles.
  • Growth mindset, self-starter, innate curiosity, and problem-solving mentality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in Pacific Standard Time

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000 based on applicable experience.
