NVA Equine has an exciting opportunity to join our talented finance team. We are currently looking to add a Financial Analyst position to our innovative and creative Operational Finance FP&A team. The candidate will have the ability to support leaders across Finance/Accounting, Corporate, Field Operations, and Practice Leadership. The Financial Analyst will support our operations through a combination of analysis, reporting, data mining, financial coaching, and more!

Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, FP&A, the Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring that financial data is aggregated, analyzed, and reported with meaningful insights. This role demands a high level of service excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Position Responsibilities Include:

·         Prepare in-depth financial analyses, reporting, and metrics to generate insights for our various leaders.

·         Design and build new reports, tools, and dashboards that are scalable and enhance decision-making.

·         Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

·         Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and budgeting tools.

·         Coordinate with hospital managers, regional managers, and regional directors to perform a variety of analyses.

·         Run and distribute monthly reports for regional and company-wide audiences.

·         Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

·         1-3 years of relevant (Finance / FP&A) experience.

·         Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Index-Match, SumIfs, Pivot Tables, xlookup) with proven experience in efficiently manipulating large sets of data.

·         Excellent analytical skills with a strong history of analyzing data to propose changes that drive positive financial results.

·         Outstanding critical thinking and presentation skills (both verbal and written).

·         Proven ability to dissect problems and develop/communicate solutions clearly, concisely, and completely.

·         Experience building financial models to help forecast, evaluate, and make data-driven decisions with field leadership (IRR, Cash Flows, Sensitivity Analyses, Break-Even Analyses, etc.,).

·         Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities with strong experience interacting with and presenting to senior executives.

·         Background in Finance with a history of utilizing financial measures and metrics to optimize business performance; expertise in manipulating data through software and applications.

·         Currently based out of the Eastern part of the United States


Preferred Qualifications:

·         Proficiency in SQL, Macros, VBA.

·         Familiarity with Oracle.

·         Strong personality and interpersonal skills with a cheerful outlook critical to success.

·         Self-motivated with a rigorous work ethic.

·         Strong business acumen and the ability to manage competing priorities.

·         Comfort dealing with ambiguous data.

·         Sense of personal responsibility and teamwork.

·         Motivation to contribute to the team’s overall success.

·         Must possess integrity, professionalism, and discipline.

·         Background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting.
