Job Description

McClintock Animal Care Center is now interviewing compassionate people to join our team as a Veterinary Technician. We are located in Tempe, Arizona. We are a full-service animal hospital with an emphasis on compassion, innovation and education, and providing the best service and care to our clients and their pets. Work in a progressive and well-equipped practice with in-hospital laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, and acupuncture.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, willing to learn, reliable, and have a positive attitude. Experience with Cornerstone software is a plus. Technician duties include:

  • addressing the client’s concerns and patient’s needs,
  • assisting the doctor in exam rooms,
  • educate pet owners about preventative medicine, common illnesses and testing,
  • client communications, presenting treatment plans and cost estimates,
  • routine patient care, medical recordkeeping,
  • diagnostic sample collection, laboratory analysis and diagnostic imaging.

We offer a team-oriented work environment for you to thrive in. Training will be provided, no experience necessary, but is preferred.

This is a full-time position with a 4-4.5 day work week. Benefits include medical, dental, pet care discounts, continuing education allowance, and retirement plan. Salary based on experience.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and to work some Saturday mornings.
